Indivisible Burke NC is a nonpartisan, nonviolent, action-oriented grassroots organization dedicated to building real democracy—of, by, and for all people.

Power Belongs to the People

JOIN US

Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.

Now, he’s doubling down — sending militarized agents into our communities, silencing voters, and handing billionaires giveaways while families struggle. This isn’t just politics. It’s democracy versus dictatorship. And together, we’re choosing democracy.

Join Us Saturday, October 18

We will be on the sidewalks downtown. We are standing, not marching on S Green Street between Erwin & Meeting Street. Bring signs and chairs, if you choose. Peaceful demonstration is not just a moral code, but a strategic one. PLEASE, no foul or hateful language on signs. Let's remind Burke County that the ‘Power Belongs to the People.’ We are standing up for a real democracy, of, by, and for ALL people.

Our Principles:

  • We firmly hold that 'We the People' means everyone in our communities, and that diversity is our country's greatest strength. We believe that all people deserve rights and opportunities.

  • Non-violence is our ethos. It is not just a moral stance. It is a strategic, principled, grounded form of constructive action.

  • We believe in action and service. Democracy is a work in progress that requires us to show up, hold our leaders accountable, and support one another, our rule of law, and our principles.
